Vintage London Transport quad-royal map c.1953.
The map is titled “Central London” and and was produced by W.& A.K.Johnston & G.W.Bacon Ltd.
It displays the London Underground lines and bus routes over a street map with the classic off-set bullseye border.
The vintage London map would make for a wonderful display piece for the home or work place.
The map is in good overall condition for its age.
There is some fairly minor creasing and very slight staining to the map in places which is commensurate with age and the usual folding lines are visible.
There are a few fairly small holes where the fold lines meet in some areas.
The text and colours remain clear, bold and vibrant.
