Genuine & Original Home Office ‘ARP’ Air Raid Precaution Poster by Pat Keely c.1938

Rare and authentic vintage World War Two British public information poster issued by the Air Raid Precautions Department of the Home Office. Printed for HM Stationery Office by Fosh & Cross Ltd, London.

The ARP WW2 poster was designed by British graphic artist, Patrick Keely, in 1938. The strong graphic image of the poster was designed to promote the work of the A.R.P. (Air Raid Precautions) in the build up to World War Two. The A.R.P. was organised by the British government  to prepare and protect civilians from the dangers of air-raids.

The ARP WW2 poster is in excellent overall condition with no obvious tears or surface staining.
There is some very light and minor surface creasing in places which is commensurate with age.
The colours of the print remain extremely bold, bright and vibrant.
